March 2022: Launched PepFluent (Co-branded English Training Program with goFLUENT)

Situation

Pepsico is notable for lifting diverse voices within their company, supply chain partners and communities while breaking down prevailing barriers —from being the first company to air a television commercial entirely in Spanish and increasing Black representation at Pepsi to implementing a company-wide Corporate Language Academy for all employees.

PepsiCo’s first English training program was provided by an English school, designed for and accessible only to certain levels in the corporate hierarchy. However, the need for a more cost-effective, scalable and inclusive access to English Proficiency and impactful communication skills was not met.
